Temple Centenary Rededication Celebration: Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St. James No.135

On Saturday 27th September Bro. James Bell RWPGM headed a very large Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St. James No.135 to carry out the ceremony of Rededication celebrating 100 years of the Temple building , the Deputation was very warmly welcomed by Bro. Revd. Alexander Shuttleworth RWM 135 and the assembled Brethren.

The ceremony of Rededication was carried out by Bro. James Bell RWPGM and the Office-bearers of the PGLA in the most expert and efficient manner and in particular Bro. Harry Jamieson standing in as DOC and carrying out his duties in the most exemplary manner.

A fine Harmony dinner followed where members of the local community from the Parish of Tarbolton and surrounding area were invited to engage and be part of this historic event of the Lodge building being part of the community since its building 100 years ago.

There was then a presentation of Cheques by Bro. Alexander Shuttleworth RWM to 11 local organisations totalling £5500.
