PGLA Fundraising Activities

 

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire is  proud to be actively involved in our local community and have been working hard to raise money for a variety of worthwhile causes. Our current fundraising activities include a range of events such as dinners, competitions, and other social gatherings.  Some of our current fundraising activities are listed below, along with how you can support our efforts, and include links and contact details.

Provincial Grand Lodge Charity Race Night

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire Charity Race Night held on Friday 5 May, raised the magnificent sum of £1,011.50 with still some donations to be received. Thanks are due to Bro. Jim Kurth PGL Director of Music for his work in organising and running the event and to the Brethren of Lodge St. Maurs No.1398 for the use of their premises along with the hospitality supplied on the night.

Provincial Grand Lodge Charity Race Night

Charity Speaker's Brunch - Beautiful Inside and Out
24th September 2023, at 12 noon for 12:30

This event is in aid of Beautiful Inside and Out which supports siblings and families bereaved by suicide in young people.

It will be held at Lodge Troon Navigation No. 86, Masonic Hall, Portland Street, Troon on Sunday 24th September 2023, at 12 noon for 12:30.

Tickets are £30.

Provincial Grand Lodge - Quiz and Fun Night

The Provincial Grand Lodge Quiz and Fun Night 2023 will be hosted by Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 and will be held on Friday 19 May 2023 commencing at 7.00pm. The event will take place in the 320 Social Club, 1 Harbour Street, Ardrossan KA22 8BS.

The format will be teams of four persons at a cost of £3 per person.

Entries should be sent to RWM 320 Bro. Brian Gibson. Fees can also be submitted to Provincial Grand Treasurer Bro. Neil Mitchell.

Entries will also be accepted on the night of the function. Lodges can enter as many teams as they wish, which can include wives or partners.

Bro. Robert Green PM, from Lodge St John Maybole No. 11, is participating in the Munros4Masons appeal to raise funds for Prostate Scotland.
