Visit to Whiteleys Retreat

Following a successful fund raising degree by the Masters of the five Lodges Chartered between 1771 and 1773, Brethren representing those Lodges were invited to and open day at Whiteleys Retreat near Ayr who had received the £7,100 raised on the day. 

RWM Bro. David Pattison of Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 HM 135 and Bro. Colin McCormick PM Secretary 135 were hosted by Gillian McNeillie Fund Raising Manager and given a tour of the estate giving the visitors good insight to where the monies raised would go. 

The facilities at Whiteleys are of five star quality and with the secluded rural location is a perfect setting for families with children who have life changing illness. 

Having viewed the facilities offered, visitors concluded that monies donated have been well invested in the property and facilities enjoyed by those families.
