On Wednesday 12th of November 2025 Bro. James Bell RWPGM headed a Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into a busy Lodge Royal Blues No.399 where they witnessed the Lodge Annual Remembrance Service.

A poignant Service of Remembrance was led by Bro. James Gibson RWM and the Office-bearers.
Bro. Martin McLaughlan WJW No.169 & Bro. Craig McGowan PM No.971 further enhanced the evening with their musical skills on the Organ and Bagpipes.

Bro. Archie Chalmers PPGM then gave a most interesting talk on a Brother of the Lodge, David Ross Lauder, who was awarded the Victoria Cross for his heroism during the Gallipoli Campaign.

Bro. James Bell RWPGM was then presented to Bro. James Gibson RWM who conferred Honorary Membership on him. The RWM warmly congratulated and thanked the RWPGM for his continued support of Lodge Royal Blues No.399 and for his sterling efforts and continued hard work that he has done through the Province and beyond in his tenure as RWPGM which was warmly received by the assembled Brethren.
The RWPGM suitably replied thanking the RWM and Brethren for bestowing him the great honour of Honorary Membership.

A fine hour was then spent in harmony with the Brethren.
