On Sunday 11th of May Bro. James Bell RWPGM accompanied by colleagues from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire and Brethren from around the Province attended Burns Fishery Tarbolton where they witnessed the memorial bench being dedicated by Provincial Grand Chaplain, Bro. Rev. Stephen Clipston.

"This bench is dedicated to Almighty God and in loving memory of those whose companionship we have enjoyed and who are now in his heavenly presence, especially Willie Dykes (1334), Billy Boe (290), David Murray (22), Davey Strachan (505), Hugh Paton (202), William Fulton (202), John Kiltie (125), Robert Howatson (125), Tam Walker (442) and John Wren (1662)

Creating and loving God, you have placed the earth and its fruits in our care, so that by our labour, all might share in the benefits of your creation.
You lighten our cares and burdens by giving us rest and healthy recreation, and refreshing our weary bodies and minds, re-creating us in your divine image.
We thank you for those who had the vision to provide this bench, for those who designed and created it incorporating such symbolism.
As we dedicate this bench, may its presence provide a place of respite and peace that cradles and inspires imagination.
May all who sit here be renewed in spirit and strengthened in mind and body.
In the peace and tranquility of this setting, may they find a deepening of their faith, devotion and trust in The Almighty Creator God.
We dedicate this bench to you, our Most High God. In your loving grace and mercy, bless this bench, and all who tarry a while on it.
You take time while time doth last
For time is no time wheel time is past.

Thanks go to Bro. Scott Forrest of Forrest Precision Engineering Co. Ltd for manufacturing and presenting the bench.
