Installation: Lodge Stivenstoune Thistle and Rose No.169 RWM Bro. Norrie Brown

On Friday 7th of November 2025 Bro. James Bell RWPGM headed a large Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Stivenstoune Thistle and Rose No.169, where they witnessed the Installation of Bro. Norrie Brown.

The RWPGM and the Deputation were warmly welcomed into the near full to capacity Lodge room by Bro. John McMail RWM who was congratulated by Bro. James Bell RWPGM for his very successful tenure as RWM.

The Installing Masters were introduced to the RWM and Brethren by Bro. John McMail Snr. DOC PM.

The Installing Masters were Bro. James Hill PM 169, Bro. John MacKellar PM 169 and Bro Norman Collet 169 PM.

The Brethren were treated to a masterclass in Installing with three very experienced Installing Masters giving a flawless ceremony done with great humour and compassion.

Bro James Bell RWPGM was first to congratulate Bro Norrie Brown RWM and wished him and the Brethren a very successful year in office.

He also congratulated the Installing Masters on an excellent ceremony of installation.

Bro. David Thomson PM Lodge St. John Royal Arch No.320 warmly congratulated his old school friend Bro. Norrie Brown RWM on taking the chair of King Solomon and wished him, the Brethren and the Lodge a very successful year ahead.

A fine hour was then spent in Harmony.
