On Friday the 1st of November, Bro. Liam Stewart SPGM headed a large Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire into Lodge Thistle and Rose No.169,
where they witnessed the Installation of Bro. John McMail and Office-bearers.
Bro. John was installed by the three Installing Masters in the most expert manner.
The Installing Masters for the evening were Bro. James Hill PM 169, Bro. Steven Foster PM 169 & Bro. Stephen Travers PM 169.
On behalf of Bro. James Bell RWPGM, Bro Liam Stewart SPGM warmly congratulated the newly installed RWM Bro John McMail, on being installed for his second year on the chair of his mother Lodge. He also congratulated the newly installed Office-bearers and wished them a very successful year in office.
The Lodge was closed in due and ancient form and Bro. Liam Stewart SPGM and the Deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire were invited to the harmony, a fine evening was had, with excellent toasts and harmony.
