The Brethren of Lodge St. John New Cumnock No.334 made the magnificent donation of £500 and was presented to the Honeypot Children's Charity, based at Dalleagles.
The charity offers respite for young carers who are looking after family members with illnesses or limitations.
As well as offering a warm and calm environment at the old school, the charity takes the group of kids out and about in the local area as much as possible, with donations like this helping to make that happen.
Thanking the group for the donation, the Honeypot team said: "We were delighted to welcome Robert and David from Lodge St. John New Cumnock No.334 to Honeypot".
They enjoyed a tour of our Dalleagles Honeypot House and generously presented a cheque for £500 to support local young carers.
Spokeswoman for Honeypot stated that "We are so grateful for their incredible support.
"Every penny helps us to build brighter futures and make a real difference for young carers in our community."
