On Sunday 15th February Bro. James Bell RWPGM attended the "Doors Open Day" at Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St James No.135
It was a very busy event which was very well attended by the local community with great interaction and engagement with the visitors to the Lodge. The RWPGM assisted by giving tours of the Lodges museum and promoting to the visitors the Lodges charitable giving to the Tarbolton area
This event was part of the below Initiative organised by Grand Lodge of Scotland.
We are pleased to announce that we are opening our Grand Lodge and lodges across the world to the public in February 2026.
Over 𝟵𝟬𝟬 Lodges under the Scottish Constitution, from Dingwall to Durban will be opening their doors to the public early next year.

We invite visitors to explore our historic meeting halls, learn about the principles and traditions of Scottish Freemasonry, and discover our ongoing charitable contributions to communities in Scotland and beyond.
It is hoped that this initiative will bring lodges to the forefront of local communities.
To mark the end of this fantastic initiative, we will also be opening the doors to the Grand Lodge of Scotland on February 28th.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the magnificent Grand Hall, museum, library, and other public areas, gaining insight into the ongoing community contributions and rich heritage of Scottish Freemasonry.
