Community Events: Barr Castle Galston Open Doors weekend.

On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of September the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire Events Team were kindly hosted by Bro. Tom Smith RWM of Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331 where they were participating in the national Open Doors day event.

There was a magnificent turn out from the public from far and a wide to see the historic Barr Castle with over 500 visitors signing the visitors book.

The PGLA events team and Lodge St. Peter Galston No.331 were assisted on the both days by Brethren from the two other Lodges in the Irvine Valley, Lodge Burns St. Mary No.505 & Lodge Loudoun Darvel No.971.

The main focus of the PGLA was to promote the "Making a Difference" initiative, to engage with the public and promote the charity work and giving that the province of Ayrshire does locally and nationally.
