50th Anniversary Celebration: Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662

On Saturday 31st of August Bro. James Bell RWPGM headed a very large Deputation from Provincial Grand Lodge into Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662 to carry out the ceremony of Rededication, the Deputation was very warmly welcomed by Bro. Scott Singleton RWM 1662 and the assembled Brethren.

The ceremony of Rededication was carried out by Bro. James Bell RWPGM and the Office-bearers of the PGLA in the most expert and efficient manner.

The Lodge was also favoured by Bro. Archie Chalmers PPGM who gave a very thorough and enlightening history of the Lodge.

Bro Archie was given a very well deserved surprise at the end of the meeting. The RWM bestowed him Honorary Membership for all his years of help and dedication to Lodge Irvine Newtown No.1662.

A fine Harmony followed with a fantastic meal and toasts.
