Tickets are now sold out for the meeting of the 5 lodges in Ayrshire consecrated in 1771, that have had their 250th rededication ceremonies. These are lodges 125, 126,127, 133 and 135.
A second degree will be conferred by the RWM's of each lodge on Saturday 26 August 2023 at the premises of Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St James No 135.
A deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland, headed by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro. William Ramsey McGhee will be in attendance, along with a deputation of brethren from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire, headed by the RWPGM Bro. James Bell.
The degree will be carried out in the Erskine Hall adjacent to the Lodge, and is open to any qualified brother. Thereafter, a celebratory dinner (tickets required) will be held in the lodge building.
A limited edition commemorative mark token has been struck and 250 are available at £10 each.
A list of raffle prizes and auction items are being prepared for the meeting and there will be a series of after dinner toasts and entertainment.
It is anticipated this will be one of the most memorable Masonic events in the province in recent years.
