Death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II
Brethren,
There are no words which could adequately express the deep feelings of profound loss which we, together with the rest of the citizens of United Kingdom, feel on the announcement of the death of our beloved monarch Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Throughout her long reign she demonstrated an unswerving commitment to the role she unexpectedly inherited in 1952 and through that commitment and dedication became a shining beacon to us all. Only a few short months ago you will recall the short letter received from her in response to our letter of congratulations on the occasion of her platinum jubilee.
I know that you would all wish to join me in expressing deep sympathy to the King, Queen Consort and the rest of the Royal Family.
God Save the King in the person of His Majesty King Charles III.
Yours faithfully and fraternally
Stuart McCall
Provincial Grand Secretary
